Live editions of the BBC's Nolan Show have been off-air for two days running after staff were hit by a Covid outbreak.
The popular weekday phone-in programme on BBC Radio Ulster aired pre-recorded repeats on both Wednesday and Thursday morning.
It was broadcast live earlier in the week but with stand-in presenter Vinny Hurrell in the hot seat on Monday and Mark Simpson on Tuesday.
Listeners have questioned online why the live show has been off-air in recent days.
One Twitter user asked: "What's happened to the show? An hour of pre-recorded interviews each morning instead?"
It is understood production of the daily live show has been impacted after some of the team tested positive for Covid-19.
Mr Hurrell, who works on the programme, complained of symptoms and tweeted a picture of positive lateral flow tests.
The presenter shared the image as he confirmed the cancellation of an outdoor broadcast of his own separate Radio Ulster show scheduled for Friday at a festival in Limavady, Co Derry.
He tweeted: "Apparently Rona said I won't be bringing the Friday Vinny radio show to Stendhal as planned.
"Really sorry to be missing it. Aches, sore throat, etc. So warm all the time! Very fortunate to be managing ok so far."
"Any Netflix/iPlayer suggestions to keep me distracted welcome."
BBC Northern Ireland said Stephen Nolan is "currently on holiday" and the pre-recorded repeat programmes were "short-term measures due to resource in production staff".
In a statement a spokesman said: "These are short-term measures due to resource in production staff and we hope to bring the live programme back to audiences as soon as possible."
The corporation said it does not routinely comment on health matters.
