Final LIV Golf Leaderboard At The International Series Qatar

Peter Uihlein, Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen.

Peter Uihlein eased to a five-stroke win at the International Series Qatar. However, he was just one of a number of LIV Golfers to tee it up ahead of the final Asian Tour event of the season next week in Saudi Arabia.

Uihlein, who plays for Range Goats GC and won the International Series England in the summer, finished 16-under-par at Doha Golf Club after beginning the final round one ahead of fellow American and fellow Oklahoma State University alumnus Zach Bauchou.

He was one of seven LIV golfers to finish inside the top 10, with former Masters champion Charl Schwartzel his nearest challenger, who finished runner-up.

Louis Oosthuizen finished seven back, while Dean Burmester, Anirban Lahiri and Eugenio Chacarra, who last week said he is hoping to find a new team after being dropped from Sergio Garcia's Fireballs GC, finished eight shots off the lead. Kieran Vincent, who finished in the LIV Golf Drop Zone, was T9.

Hong Kong Open winner Patrick Reed finished T13 along with two other players from the big-money League, Thomas Pieters and Branden Grace, who is another facing an uncertain LIV Golf future after finding himself in the Drop Zone.

LIV wildcard Anthony Kim made his first cut since the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March 2012 thanks to a 71 and 72. He followed that with rounds of 73 and 71 to finish 15 shots adrift in T37.

LIV Golf reserve John Catlin was the International Series rankings leader before the tournament, but Uihlein's win moved him to second in the standings and currently out of the running for full-time LIV Golf contract with just the Saudi International to come. Catlin finished T19 in Qatar and knows he has work to do if he is to reclaim top spot next week.

Over 40 LIV golfers will be playing in Saudi including defending champion Abraham Ancer and two-time winner Dustin Johnson. The leader of the International Series rankings after the final round, provided they're not already a LIV player, will earn a spot in the League for 2025.

All but one of the LIV players in Qatar made the cut, with Majesticks GC's Sam Horsfield the only one to miss the final two rounds.
