Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson are among the biggest names in the field while Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed are set to join the league.
Players teed off in London at 2.15 pm and in one of its unique selling points is that players play in a shot gun start.
All members of the field teed off at the same time on each of the 18 holes and the event will last three days instead of the traditional four.
And it is being live streamed on YouTube which you can view above.
And the PGA Tour released a statement suspending all players as they teed off in London.
