Little Mix superstar Jade Thirlwall is reportedly taking a break from music before launching a solo bid next year.
Jade, 29, and her band members are all embarking on separate music ventures after Little Mix went on hiatus earlier this year, with the Geordie singer signing with RCA Records and Harry Styles' management team.
However the X Factor winner is in no rush to release her solo offering, despite having a tune ready to go, it has been reported.
A source told The Sun's Bizarre column: “The stakes are massive. Jade has what it takes to become a huge star. It would be foolish to rush-release some half-hearted track.
"Jade has been in the studio a lot but at the moment it’s about planning for the future while enjoying a break following her 11 years in Little Mix.”
The Mirror has approached Jade's team for comment.
After Little Mix performed for the final time together on stage in May, both Jade and Leigh-Anne went on to confirm they had penned solo record deals, but all had seemingly been quiet when it came to Perrie's post-band career moves.
However, earlier this month singer Kamille revealed the star has been working away in the studio just like her former bandmates.
Perrie is said to be calling on the talents of British producer Fred Again and songwriter Steve Mac - who has penned top hits for the likes of Calvin Harris.
"There's so many things that they're interested in, I couldn't pinpoint it to one thing. The best thing right now is that we're having fun discovering," Kamille, who is also collaborating with the singer, told OfficialCharts.com. "I couldn't even pinpoint it, but just know it's going to blow everyone's minds."
Perrie previously admitted all three women will be in communication regarding their solo careers to avoid any awkward clashes.
"We've all said we will let each other know when we’re going to release so we don’t end up clashing in the charts.
"We’re rooting for each other, not competing against each other," she told The Sun earlier this year.
During the last concert for the foreseeable future, the talented trio all wept as they belted out some of their biggest hits, including Shout Out To My Ex, Heartbreak Anthem and Break Up Song.
As the one-time X Factor winners reflected on their decade together, former bandmate Jesy Nelson was seemingly absent from montages and speeches - following her December 2020 exit from the group and subsequent comments.
Jesy dramatically quit the band in order to prioritise her mental health and subsequently went on to launch a solo career last year, before parting ways with her record label after releasing just one single, Boyz, featuring Nicki Minaj.
Confirming the news, a spokesperson for Jesy told the Mirror: "[She] feels now is the right for her to move in a new direction. As a result, she has decided to part company with Polydor."
