Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall helps save 'ill and anxious' fan in crowd at concert

Jade Thirlwall has been praised for her quick thinking after helping a fan who had fallen ill get treatment and a Little Mix gig.

The North East singer, 29, was performing on stage with her bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 30, and Perrie Edwards, 28, when she noticed a female fan struggling.

The band was performing a spectacular 22-song set list at Dublin's 3 Arena on Wednesday during the band's farewell Confetti tour, and shouted out: "Alright Dublin, are you ready?"

However, mid-song Jade spotted that a fan needed assistance and told a section of 13,000-strong crowd to stop what they were doing.

A video posted on TikTok showed the star starting to hype up the crowd during the band's rendition of smash hit Only You.

However, she seen noticed a fan wasn't particularly well and told the adoring concert-goers: "I just want everybody in this area to be still and let this girl get sorted out so she’s okay."

Jade could be seen waving over to an area near the side of the stage.

After waiting to make sure the girl was being taken care of, she continued to tell the rest of the crowd: "Everybody else you can jump!"

Her actions were praised by many social media users, some of which comments on previous tragic events at Astroworld which saw 10 people die after a surge in the crowd.

People at the Dublin gig commented on the post to say the girl Jade was talking about looked "ill and anxious" while others said she could have been "getting squished".

Another user went on to reassure fans the girl was "ok" now after claiming they were working as a first aider at the concert.

Elsewhere in attendance was former X Factor stars Jedward who shared a snap of them both enjoying the tunes inside the arena.

They captioned the post: "The best girl band in the world you are JEPIC. That concert was perfection."

The Dublin gig was a success following the girlband kicking off their tour in Belfast earlier in the week.

It was the start of a busy few weeks for the stars who are set to take to arenas around all of the UK.
