Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall becomes Princess Jasmine for Halloween after 'snub' for Aladdin role

Jade Thirlwall had a stunning Halloween makeover to become Princess Jasmine, years after being 'snubbed' by Disney for the role in the live action remake of Aladdin.

The Little Mix star is known for a love of dressing up, having jaw-drooping transformations to become the stars like Diana Ross and Marge Simpson over the last few years. And, months after the X Factor winners went on 'break,' South Shields singer Jade has delighted fans again, sharing photos of her Disney overhaul, with her making a striking Jasmine in the character's famous pale blue crop top and hareem pants look and boyfriend, Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephans an eye-catching Genie stood by her side.

Putting a cheeky caption next to it, she wrote: "A whole new world and a whole new man. Sorry Aladdin." Princess Jasmine has a few different looks in Aladdin and Jade replicated another one of them, swapping a blue ensemble for red, complete with a shorter hair do, full of volume.

Jade's Jasmine makeover for Halloween comes after she reportedly lost out on the role in the 2019 remake of the much loved Disney 90s cartoon, with Naomi Scott instead going onto star alongside the likes of Will Smith and Mena Massoud in the movie. Jade is set to have got down to the final few actresses for the role, with a source saying: "Jasmine is Jade’s perfect role, so she’s delighted to have got this far in the process. The talks have been going on for some time now.

“And the longer they go on, the better her chances are looking. All of the girls (Little Mix) have their fingers crossed for her, as they always support each other."

Jade's many social media followers lapped up her Jasmine transformation, with Little Mix bandmate reacting: "JUST UNREAL!!!" and a fan writing: "A-M-A-Z-I-N-G."
