What can be more wholesome than seeing a child find comfort, joy and happiness in the presence of their parents.
A recent TikTok video posted by mother-of-two Chelsea Krow highlighted how being present for one's child can make all the difference in the world to them.
The video recording that has been making rounds on various social media platforms, begins with a glimpse of little kids standing in a group on the stage. We see the children smiling, giggling, waving their hands to the audience, probably to their parents.
Amid all the chaos, the camera zooms in on Emmy, Chelsea's daughter, who is now looking through the audience, searching for her loved ones. She looks distressed at first. But as soon as she locates her parents in the audience, her expressions change from being dubious to absolute contentment.
She starts smiling hard, while tearing up a little. We see her wiping her tears and waving simultaneously, overwhelmed with joy and elation. In the end, she claps her hands and gives a cute shrug.
The video has gained much love and appreciation from the audience. While some have lauded the parents for showing up, others have expressed the whirlpool of emotions they went through while watching the video.
"Awwww baby girl found her people," one comment read.
Another social media user said, "I’m not crying, you’re crying 🥰 that’s how my youngest responds when he sees me too. My oldest is a bit more reserved, but I can tell he’s beyond happy I’m there."
A spectator also said, "THIS is why Showing up matters so much! You will always remember this moment!! 👏👏❤️❤️"
