An illuminated parade led by Dundu, will bring Lewisham’s year in the cultural spotlight to a spectacular close
(Picture: )A spectacular free public performance featuring giant illuminated puppets is being staged to mark the end of Lewisham’s tenure as London Borough of Culture.
The performance features as a part of LIT!, a three-day event being held in Beckenham Place Park that runs until Thursday which includes food, music and a family funfair.
On Wednesday 20 ft tall illuminated puppets will lead a light parade around the park accompanied by a samba band, with borough residents invited to act as light bearers.
