Lisburn burglary: PSNI issue appeal after cash and jewellery taken in daylight break-in

The PSNI have issued an appeal after cash and jewellery were stolen in a daytime burglary.

Detectives in Lisburn are investigating the report of a break-in at a house at Thornbrook, Legacurry, just outside Lisburn in Co Antrim, on Monday July 25.

It is believed the house was entered at around 12.10pm with a quantity of cash and several items of jewellery reported stolen.

A police statement said: "Enquiries are ongoing and detectives would ask anyone with information, or anyone who was in the area at the time of the burglary and captured dash-cam footage which could assist with their enquires, to call them in Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 818 25/07/22.

"A report can be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ or you can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at http://crimestoppers-uk.org/."
