Lisandro Martinez sends Manchester United rallying cry in brilliant social media post

Lisandro Martinez has sent a big rallying call the way of Manchester United's supporters, following the side's late equaliser against Chelsea.

Jorginho had put the hosts ahead from the spot, before Casemiro 's looping header deep into injury time ensured the points were shared at Stamford Bridge. Martinez, along with his fellow United team-mates could be seen celebrating with the traveling supporters, in what some have described as perhaps a turning point in the team's season.

The former Ajax man, who could be seen joining in with the wild celebrations, took to social media after the game, only further amplifying the strong team spirit seemingly implemented by Erik ten Hag in recent weeks. The Reds are now unbeaten in their last six outings in all competitions.

The 24-year-old has already become something of a cult hero at the club, with echos of chant 'Argentina, Argentina' often heard bellowing around Old Trafford on matchdays.

Martinez has been in superb form of late, performing valiantly and standing out as one of the side's best performers over recent weeks. That was none more evident than against Chelsea, winning five out of six tackles during the 90 minutes, whilst also registering seven clearances too.

Forming a solid partnership with Raphael Varane, there was some worry following the French international's withdrawal late on in the game, with Victor Lindelof performing well during his 30-minute cameo. The extent of Varane's injury is yet to be fully established.
