Lisandro Martinez put in a brilliant display for Manchester United away at Southampton on Saturday afternoon and his statistics speak for themselves.
Bruno Fernandes was the match winner for the Reds converting a cross from Diogo Dalot superbly with a cushioned volley in the second half. Both teams were evenly matched for much of the contest with Christian Eriksen going closest for United in the first half.
Following the goal, it was all about the Reds' defence and one man in particular stood out at the back. Martinez struggled at Brentford during the hammering in the capital.

However, at Southampton he put in a 'player of the match' performance according to statistician Statman Dave. Most notably, considering the criticism levelled at him over his height, Martinez won all five of his aerial duels against the Saints.
He also achieved 100 per cent of his ground duels and successfully completed all of his dribbles. The ex-Ajax man had 61 touches in total, made four interceptions and made seven clearances.
The victory at St Mary's lifted United into the top half of the table. Next up for United is a trip to Leicester City on Thursday.
