Lisandro Martinez has arrived in Manchester to complete his £46million move to United.
The centre-back will undergo a medical now he's arrived in the country and the club also need to secure a visa for the Argentina international. He will then sign a five-year contract worth around £120,000-a-week.
The 24-year-old is set to become the third signing of the summer for United after Tyrell Malacia joined from Feyenoord for £12.9million and Christian Eriksen signed as a free agent on Friday.

With a medical to complete and a visa to secure, the deal for Martinez might not be confirmed until early week and he will not be joining the club's pre-season tour of Australia. Eriksen and Martinez will link up with their new teammates when United return to Carrington a week on Monday, after the games against Crystal Palace in Melbourne and Aston Villa in Perth.
Erik ten Hag wanted a central defender to strengthen the ranks this summer and was keen on a left-footed option to add balance to the side. United had extensively scouted Villarreal's Pau Torres and David Carmo of Braga, but Ten Hag prioritised Martinez, a player he has worked with Ajax since 2019, and United were happy to back their new manager.
They were forced to accelerate discussions when Arsenal made a bid, but once United had registered their interest Martinez was keen to link up with his former boss at Old Trafford.
United had a bid worth £37million rejected but made a breakthrough this week when they registered a second offer, worth around £46million. Chief executive Richard Arnold and football director John Murtough have been on the continent this week and having been in Barcelona for talks over Frenkie de Jong, they travelled to Amsterdam and have managed to secure a deal for Martinez.
Martinez will become the seventh senior central defender at the club, alongside Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe, but sales in that department are expected before the window closes on September 1.
