Lisa Marie Presley's three daughters will receive Elvis' Graceland home after her death

The iconic home of Elvis Presley is to go to his daughter Lisa Marie Presley's kids following her death aged 54.

The legendary singer's only child died last week, just days after attending the Golden Globes, which saw the biopic about her dad's life acknowledged at the ceremony. She went into cardiac arrest at home in Calabasas before being pronounced dead at a Los Angeles medical centre.

Reports claim Lisa Marie will get her wish and pass on Graceland to her three daughters after fans had been questioning what was going to happen to the estate following her passing.

She has three children; Riley Keough, 33, and twins Finley and Harper, 14. Her son Benjamin died by suicide in 2020 aged 27.

The property was Lisa Marie's childhood home and is where Elvis died in 1977 at the age of 42, when Lisa Marie was just nine.

It sits in Memphis, Tennessee, and attracts Elvis fans from all over the world and many were left concerned as to whether it will remain open for visits following the death of Lisa Marie.

After it was left to Lisa Marie in the King of Rock and Roll's will, she became the sole owner of the property when the trust holding her inheritance dissolved on her 25th birthday in 1993.

However, she formed a new trust - The Elvis Presley Trust - in a bid to successfully manage the estate. Other trustees included her mum Priscilla Presley, 77, and the National Bank of Commerce.

It's currently set to be worth up to $500million, according to a Rolling Stone report in 2020. Elvis originally purchased the property in 1957 for $100,000.

In 2013, Lisa Marie made it clear of her intentions to hand over the property to her family in the events anything happened to her. She said: "Graceland was given to me and will always be mine. And then passed to my children. It will never be sold."

It was announced on Monday that a public memorial would be held for Lisa Marie on Graceland's front lawn on January 22.

Representatives for the family told Page Six she will be laid to rest beside her dad and her son.
