Lisa Marie Presley’s half-brother Navarone Garibaldi has said he is “lost for words” following her death last Thursday, and has penned an emotional tribute.

Lisa Marie, daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, died aged 54 after a reported cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles, California, on January 12.

Her death comes 18 months after her son, Benjamin Keough, died by suicide at the age of 27.

Garibaldi, the son of Priscilla, 77, referred to Lisa Marie as “Big sister” as he spoke of his “hope” that she’s now reunited with her late son and father.

Posting a throwback photo of Lisa Marie as a child on Instagram, Garibaldi, 35, wrote: “Big sister…I hope you are now at peace and happy with your Dad and your son by your side.

“I know the past couple years weren’t easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us. Regardless, you are my sister and I’m sending love and prayers for your journey home.”

Garibaldi concluded: “I still can’t believe this, I’m lost for words. Love you sis. Beijos”, and added a broken-heart emoji at the end.

The mourning musician’s father is Priscilla’s ex Marco Garibaldi. The pair were in a relationship for 22 years before they split in 2006.

Priscilla confirmed the death of her daughter Lisa Marie last week, following her rush to hospital after having reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.

She said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.

“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss.

“Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time, there will be no further comment.”

Just a couple of days prior, Lisa Marie had attended the 80th Golden Globes Awards with Priscilla, along with actor Austin Butler, who ended up winning Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis in Baz Luhrmann’s film, who was also in attendance.

Butler, 31, sweetly tributed the Presleys in his speech as they watched on, and Lisa Marie later smiled and said: “I’m so happy”, in response to his win.
