Lisa Marie Presley and her daughter Riley Keough came together for one final on-screen chat to discuss their father and grandfather Elvis Presley.
The mother-daughter duo reflected on how "emotional" it had been to watch Baz Luhrmann's biopic Elvis, with 33-year-old Riley describing it as an "exceptional film".
The movie, which stars Austin Butler as the superstar singer, documents Elvis' rise to superstardom and explores his turbulent relationship with manager Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks).
In an interview with Good Morning America, Lisa Marie and Riley revealed they had sat down to watch the film together.
"It was so emotional," Lisa Marie told the presenters.
"It just brings up such generational trauma, in a good way. Riley five minutes in was already like gone, like, 'I'm done.'
"She was already crying and I was crying."
Riley added: "It was really intense. As a film, it's just an exceptional film."
The film won Austin, 31, a Golden Globe Award on Tuesday night and he used his acceptance speech to say he would always love Lisa Marie and her mother Priscilla Presley.
Priscilla and her daughter had grown close to the 31-year-old actor as he made the hit film Elvis. They would often share stories about the superstar singer and opened up to Austin about what Elvis had been like.
"I also want to thank our incredible producers and Warner Bros and the Presley family, thank you guys, thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me.
"Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever," Austin said.
On Thursday, it was announced by her mother that Lisa had died age 54 after being rushed to hospital over a suspected heart attack.
Lisa's mother Priscilla shared a statement to announce her daughter's death.
Priscilla said: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
"She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss.
"Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment."
It has been reported by TMZ that Lisa was rushed to hospital after her housekeeper found her unresponsive at her home in Calabasas, California.
Lisa's ex-husband is said to have been there and performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived and took over.
