Lisa Maffia has shared her heartbreak after her four-year-old cousin passed away.

The 42-year-old former star of So Solid Crew took to Instagram to post a photo of Jetson, along with a message in which she said that he was "gone too soon".

The sweet photo saw the toddler looking into the camera as he rocked a denim jacket.

Writing in the caption, in which she tagged Jetson's mother, Lisa wrote: "My handsome little cousin Jetson. I love you and your mumma.

"I’m sorry you’re gone so soon. God had a plan for you long before we even met you.

"I know you’re safely in the hands of god. Until we meet again, sleep well my boy - be a strong crystalmaffia"

Lisa added a dove of peace emoji as well as a broken heart emoji in the sad post.

On her Instagram Story, Lisa also posted a couple of videos of the toddler, captioning the poignant clips: "Baby boy Jetson, we love you"

On a second clip, Lisa wrote: "Until we meet again handsome boy"

Jetson's mum commented on the post, writing along with two blue heart emojis: "Thank you Lisa"

Among those who left messages to Lisa was DJ The Artful Dodger, who had a huge hit at the end of the 90s with Craig David.

He left four blue heart emojis in the comment section.

Among Lisa's 83,000 followers were many comments as fans shared their condolences.

One wrote: "Sorry for your loss Lisa God bless you and your family at this sad time"

While another added: "So sorry to hear of your loss. What a beautiful boy."
