As the warmer months approach, many of us are thinking about how to kick off our spring cleaning. For those of us who love an organized home, knowing how to store our cleaning supplies is just as important as choosing the right materials to clean with. Lisa Barlow falls firmly into this camp.
The Real Housewife of Salt Lake City has been interested in cleaning for as long as she can remember. She joined Homes & Gardens to talk about her partnership with Clorox and how she keeps her very clean house organized. Lisa states: 'I'm obsessed with clean, so it was a very natural partnership. I grew up in a house where my mom only used Clorox. So to me, if it's not Clorox, it's not clean.'
For Lisa Barlow, organizing cleaning supplies is just as important as the supplies she uses. She tells Homes & Gardens: 'I have a little room downstairs where everything's completely organized. We had custom cabinets put in this room. It was dead space that I decided we should be utilizing. We added a door, added in all these great shelves. It's really pretty. To me, it has to look good. I like everything organized, front-facing and in line for what we need.'

This storage is an essential part of interior design in Lisa's home. She states: 'We're building a new house, so we're in the architectural phase, and for me it was really important that we had a space to store cleaning supplies. I think a lot of people think of a laundry room as having a great countertop. For me, I wanted rows of shelving, where I could organize everything and have everything in a great place where I can see it. I'm a very visual person. So for me, being able to see what I have and being able to use that is super important. I think our Laundry room and storage room is going to be one of the prettiest rooms in the house.'

Whether you have an arsenal of cleaning products or are just getting started building up your collection, proper organization is key to keeping your home. Take it from Lisa Barlow.
