New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr heated up on Monday night after a rough start against the hosting Kansas City Chiefs.
After throwing an ugly pick to Chiefs safety Bryan Cook, Carr redeemed himself by nailing a beautiful downfield pass to Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed to get New Orleans on the board with a touchdown.
As he was running off the field and celebrating, the ESPN Monday Night Football camera caught Carr saying what looked like “I told you!” to an unknown audience, perhaps to anyone who doubted his abilities.
We’re not entirely sure what sparked such a fiery reaction from Carr, but he sure looked amped up and ready to tell the world he told us so after the touchdown throw.
