Lip-readers think Kelly Oubre called referees NSFW names over a potential missed call

At the end of Wednesday night’s Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers game, Sixers guard Kelly Oubre let his feelings be known to the officiating crew.

With Philly down a point to Los Angeles with just a couple of seconds left, Oubre put up a last-second shot for the win but was denied at the point of release. However, Oubre and 76ers coach Nick Nurse felt that the guard was fouled on the attempt and proceeded to let the referees know about it.

If Oubre had been fouled, it would’ve sent him to the free-throw line to potentially send the game to overtime or win it outright. However, no foul was called, and the Clippers walked away with the 108-107 win.

Well, Oubre in particular seemingly had some salty language for the refs for potentially missing a huge call, appearing to call them all [expletives] to their faces, one by one.

Whew, this is quite a way to let your feelings be known if you’re Oubre.

While it’s hard to tell if this really was a foul, it’s easy to see that it infuriated Oubre to the point of likely getting penalized for his remarks.
