Lip-readers think Caitlin Clark was chastising nearby refs in loss to Mystics

Before Caitlin Clark had a historic stat line against the Mystics, she was going THROUGH IT.

The Mystics were up huge for a good portion of the game, using their defense to frustrate the Indiana Fever. Even Caitlin, who typically is not flustered much, was coming unraveled. She got into a brief skirmish with Julie Vanloo, where she mocked Vanloo for flopping after pushing her several times.

Lip-readers think they uncovered more frustration from Caitlin during the matchup when Ariel Atkins fell backward into Aliyah Boston (and to the ground) from contact she initiated. They believe Caitlin chastised nearby refs, saying, “She’s so soft. Don’t fall for that. No. You fell for it.”
