Lip reader reveals what lonely Prince Harry told guests as he arrived at Coronation

A lip reader has revealed what Prince Harry said to guests as he arrived at Westminster Abbey today for the Coronation of his father King Charles.

With wife Meghan Markle staying at home in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, it was up to Harry to represent his family alone.

The Duke of Sussex arrived at the same time as his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, along with their respective husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank.

Harry came in way before the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children - and got a seat three rows back from the front.

While walking in, Harry gave courteous greetings to some of the other guests, saying "hello", "morning" and "nice to see you" to various people.

Our lip reader has also claimed he said "look at that" while noticing the grandeur of the occasion and also said "delightful".

Harry is sat next to Eugenie's husband Jack and Princess Alexandra - the cousin of the late Queen, who hasn’t had a working royal engagement in a decade.

Body language expert Judi James explained that Harry looked nervous while he waited for Charles to arrive.

She told The Mirror: "As Harry waited in his seat for his father and brother to arrive there were some subliminal signs of building tension or anxiety.

"He sucked his lips in and licked them and his blink rate increased, suggesting adrenalin prompted by nerves."

It is believed that seating arrangements had been one of the sticking points that had caused a delay in Harry responding as to whether he would attend the historic event.

Harry won't be hanging around for long as it's believed he will be dashing off straight after the ceremony to get back to the States.

Earlier this month, a royal source told The Mirror : "After much back and forth, Harry said that he would be returning for the King's Coronation but it will only be a fleeting visit.

"Organisers have been told Harry won't be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a great shame as it will be such a spectacular event."

Harry isn't sat anywhere near his brother, Prince William, with organisers reportedly keen to make sure there aren't any public rows on the big day.

The warring brothers have been completely separated and will not even be in any camera shots together.

A source told the Sun : "There were discussions that the seating could be arranged on line of succession. But that would have put fifth-in-line Harry front and centre — and with William and Kate.

"Instead the decision was working royals only at the front and work back from there. Harry will be a long way from his father."

The announcement that Harry would be attending the Coronation without Meghan ended months of speculation.

In a statement, the Palace: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.

"The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."
