With a 13-yard touchdown in the first quarter of Detroit’s win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown tied the franchise record for consecutive games with a touchdown catch.
The streak, which is up to six games and dates back to Week 15 of last season, has made him one of the more reliable bets each week as an anytime touchdown scorer. He incredibly scored within seconds of his brother in Week 1, then followed that up with two scores on Sunday after catching another touchdown in the fourth quarter.
St. Brown won’t find the end zone every week (probably?), but as Jared Goff’s top target in a balanced offensive attack, he’ll remain someone to consider going forward for bettors and fantasy managers alike.

But scoring touchdowns isn’t all St. Brown does. He also has at least eight receptions in eight straight games, which is tied for an NFL record with Michael Thomas and Antonio Brown. In those eight games, he failed to score just once and more importantly for Lions fans, the team is 4-4.
And the incredible stats just keep coming.
Amon-Ra St. Brown is now the first player in NFL history to have six consecutive games with at least eight receptions and a touchdown.

A fourth-round pick of the Lions last year, St. Brown has exceeded any and all early expectations for his career. Now, it’s probably about time defenses start paying attention to him.
