Lions Ticket Prices: Cheapest Seat For Divisional Round Is $587

The Lions being Super Bowl favorites is a huge deal for Detroit. The perennial and historically losing franchise has been starved for success for decades, having just one playoff win in the Super Bowl era before last year’s NFC Championship run. But head coach Dan Campbell has turned their fortunes around, the city and the fans are fully bought in for their current playoff run. So much so that the demand for game tickets is through the roof, and the prices have skyrocketed.

Detroit Lions See Ticket Prices Skyrocket For Playoffs

There was plenty of hype last season. The Wild Card game that the Lions hosted in 2024 was their first home playoff game in 30 years, and broke records for the most expensive ticket in NFL playoff history. None of the attraction has worn off, as Detroit again tops the list for the most expensive tickets for the upcoming Divisional Round.

Game Price Difference
Commanders @ Lions $587
Packers @ Eagles $246 138%
Texans @ Chiefs $136 331%
Ravens @ Bills $134 338%

According to SeatGeek, the get-in price (cheapest available) for a single ticket to Saturday night’s game against the Washington Commanders is currently sitting at $587. It would buy you a seat in the third-to-last row of the entire stadium, tucked into the far Northwest corner. A seat in the lower level at the 50-yard line would currently run $1,672.

The prices for the Lions blow the competition out of the water. The Eagles are known to have an uptick in pricing during the postseason, but next week’s game in Philadelphia has a get-in price of $246, or roughly 2.5 times cheaper than in Detroit. There is an even bigger discrepancy between the AFC games. A single ticket to the game in Kansas City is $134, and the premier matchup in Buffalo will run cost just $136.

You could buy a ticket to each of the other three games for less than the price of a single Lions ticket.

The high price tag may be worth it for some of the die hard fans. The Lions were a strong team last year, but were still considered underdogs when it came to their Super Bowl odds. This season, despite not finishing with the league’s best record, they are alone in front as the Super Bowl favorites, currently sitting with a +300 designation according to DraftKings. They will host every postseason game that they play this season by way of being the NFC’s no. 1 seed, so expect the demand and prices to continue to rise if the Detroit continues to win.

The game this coming Saturday will be played against the Washington Commanders. It could end up featuring the largest spread of any Divisional Round game, with the margin currently set at 9.5 points in favor of the Lions.
