The limo drivers have been busy taking some top QB prospects on the short drive on I-94 east from the Detroit airport to the Lions headquarters in Allen Park.
Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker was in Detroit on Tuesday for his scheduled visit. Hooker’s draft stock is hard to pin down, but he appears to be an option for the Lions picks at either 18 or 48.
The Lions will also host Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud this week. It’s part of a broad tour for Stroud, who is also meeting with the Colts and Raiders and has already met with the Texans and Panthers–the teams with the top two picks in the draft. Stroud is a consensus projection as a top-5 pick.
Detroit, of course, sits at No. 6 overall in the draft. At this point, it would appear the Lions are performing their due diligence on Stroud.
C.J. Stroud also has visits with the #Colts (4) and #Lions (6) later this week. Almost every team in the top eight spending extra time with one of the draft’s top QBs. https://t.co/SMQPQuMdTF
