The period of pre-draft visits for prospects with NFL teams is about to expire. With just eight days until the 2023 NFL draft, time is ticking for teams to bring in prospects with their allotment of 30 official meetings with players.
One of the last prospects to visit with the Detroit Lions was a big one. Florida offensive guard O’Cyrus Torrence was in Allen Park on Tuesday for his visit with the Lions.
Torrence is a potential option with the No. 18 overall pick. His power-oriented style worked very well at both Florida and Louisiana, where he played before following head coach Billy Napier to Gainesville. Torrence did not allow a sack in college and had a particularly dominant matchup with Georgia and celebrated DT Jalen Carter.

The Lions have previously met with Torrence at the Senior Bowl, where he had a strong week of practices, and the Gators pro day.
