Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes certainly wears his heart on his sleeve.
It was two years ago that cameras caught him being over-the-top thrilled at the franchise drafting Penei Sewell (which was a good reason to be excited). He was brought to tears earlier this year talking about Lions players.
And this year, when the Lions shocked a lot of people and took Jahmyr Gibbs, the running back from Alabama, Holmes was elated. Extremely excited. So much so that he smashed a table a bunch.
If I was an NFL GM, I’d be just like him. This is exciting stuff! Celebrate it as such!
