The Detroit Lions will head to Minnesota in Week 3 to face the Vikings. They’ll do so with four of their most talented players all questionable for Sunday’s matchup with injuries.
Center Frank Ragnow (toe), running back D’Andre Swift (ankle) and rookie defensive end Aidan Hutchinson (thigh) are all officially listed as questionable for the game. So is tight end T.J. Hockenson, who is battling through a hip injury.
Two Lions who were not expected to play were also officially ruled out against the Vikings. Left guard Jonah Jackson has not practiced in over a week with a finger injury, while defensive lineman John Cominsky had surgery on his wrist this week after being injured in last week’s win over the Washington Commanders.
The defensive backfield is in much better shape. Cornerback Amani Oruwariye does not carry an injury designation this week after missing Week 2 with a back problem. Safeties Ifeatu Melifonwu and Juju Hughes are also sufficiently healthy enough to not have a listing.
Starting safety Tracy Walker did not practice the last two days of the week. His wife is expecting to give birth and Walker was excused. He will also play Sunday.
