Lionel Richie and Rick Astley added to Hampton Court Palace Festival 2020 line-up

Lionel Richie and Rick Astley have been added to the line-up for next summer’s Hampton Court Palace Festival.

The concert series, which will run within the grounds of the palace across June, had already confirmed George Benson.

Now, the two 80s favourites have joined proceedings, with Astley due to play on Friday June 5.

Richie will top the bill on two separate dates, first on Thursday June 11 and then again on Tuesday June 16.

It will be Richie’s second and third appearances at the festival in little over a year, having headlined the event back in 2018 as well.

Hampton Court Palace festival has now been running for 28 years, set within a Tudor courtyard and amid the backdrop of Henry VIII’s palace.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday November 22. They will be available to buy here.
