The Argentinian wizard dazzled in a red leopard-print Dolce & Gabbana sweatshirt and matching bottoms.
His lurid look was on a par with the luminous yellow T-shirt he wore over Christmas for a family snap during his festive season visit to his home city of Rosario in Argentina.
He wore the same eye-blinding yellow top to go dancing with stunning wife Antonela Roccuzzo before being struck down with Covid and having to delay his flight back to France.
Romeo, who has been at Paris Fashion Week with mum Victoria, looked delighted to be in the company of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.
He sported a more toned-down look with grey tracksuit bottoms and a black top for his meet-and-greet with Messi.
One fan responded to the snap, referring to the footballer by the shortened version of his first name as he is better known in Spain and South America, by writing: “Wtf is Leo wearing!!”
Another joked: “Why is Messi wearing his pyjamas.”
Even Neymar, who likes to impress off the pitch with his clothing and his new-look haircuts, was left in the shade by Messi with his subdued all-blue outfit.
The 30-year-old Brazilian gifted the 19-year-old, who is dating model Mia Regan, a signed PSG shirt. Romeo jetted to Paris earlier this week from Miami where he has been training with dad David’s football team Inter Milan FC.
He wore a pale pink jumper, washed out jeans and white trainers for his Tuesday visit to the Saint-Laurent Paris Fashion Week show.
The snaps taken of him alongside his mum showed him towering over her despite Victoria, 47, wearing high heels.
He was clearly taller than all three of the PSG frontmen too in the pictures he posted on his Instagram, with fans commenting on how small Messi looked alongside him.
Romeo is the second eldest son of former England captain David, 46, and his fashion designer wife.
His recent £1.2 million deal to become the new face of Puma and wear their products on the pitch is said to have made him richer than his three siblings.
