Lionel Messi has been handed the number 30 shirt at Paris Saint-Germain.
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner agreed on a two-year deal with the option of a third with Paris Saint-Germain after Barcelona announced the club is not in a financial position to offer Messi a new contract.
Pictures of Messi at the Parc des Princes have been leaked on Twitter this Tuesday night with the Argentine holding a PSG shirt with his name and number 30 on the back.
PSG later confirmed the pictures were genuine by posting the same ones to social media, showing Messi with the number 30 shirt.
Messi first wore the number 30 shirt at Barcelona and sported it on his debut before switching to 19.
Eventually, Messi inherited Ronaldinho's number 10 shirt at the Camp Nou and he went on to wear this for the rest of his time in Spain.
The number 10 shirt is currently occupied by Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi was pictured at Barcelona's El Prat airport on Tuesday alongside his family.
Jorge Messi confirmed to reporters that his son would indeed be joining PSG.

Barcelona legend Messi said goodbye to the club he has represented since the age of 12 last week, and was in tears as he addressed the world's media.
"This year, my family and I were convinced we were going to stay at home, that's what we all wanted more than anything," he said.
"We'd always made this our own, we were at home. We thought we would be staying here in Barcelona. But today, we have to say goodbye to all of this."
