Given Lionel Messi is a global star, you'd be forgiven for thinking his three sons are devout fans of the Barcelona forward.
But, as it turns out, Messi's middle child rather likes taunting his father about his defeats.
The Argentina international has three young boys - Tiago, Matteo and Ciro - who he revealed play football with him during his spare time.
Messi's son, Matteo, however is quite the joker. In fact, Messi revealed in an interview with Argentine outlet TyC how Matteo likes to remind him of Barcelona's loss to Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals as well as the La Liga winners' defeat to Valencia in the Copa del Rey final.
"Tiago doesn’t miss a game," said. "Mateo loves football, he wears all the shirts.
"The other day we were at home playing and he said: ‘I’m Liverpool, who beat you’. The same with Valencia. Or the same when football is on TV and he sees the goals of Madrid and shouts to annoy his brother.
"Mateo looks at me and challenges me. I tell Thiago things once and he does it without complaining. In the (national team) I find it hard to be far from them."
Messi scored twice in Barcelona's 3-0 first-leg win over Liverpool before Klopp's side scored four without reply in the reverse leg to progress to the Champions League final, which they won 2-0 against Tottenham.
Despite the disappointment of the Champions League and Copa del Rey final defeats, Barcelona won La Liga comfortably - finishing 11 points above Atletico Madrid and 19 above arch-rivals Real Madrid.
But it seems Messi's son Matteo rather likes Los Blancos.
"He’s watching TV and he screams goal for Real Madrid," Messi said of Matteo.
"He does it on purpose against his brother.
"Everyone watching Madrid, they score, Thiago gets angry, and Mateo goes ‘goaaaal for Madrid!’"
