Linlithgow Rose are aiming to make it a cup final double over Gala Fairydean Rovers on Sunday.
Gordon Herd’s side ended their near-decade long wait for a trophy when they beat the Lowland League outfit 3-1 in last season’s East of Scotland Qualifying Cup final and now the two teams will meet again at the weekend in the East of Scotland Cup final.
The Rose are well placed to seal the East of Scotland Premier Division title and have a remarkable record this season against teams in the higher division having beaten Berwick Rangers, Spartans, Civil Service Strollers and Bo’ness United in various cup competitions.
The final will take place at Ferguson Park in Rosewell, home of Whitehill Welfare.
Kick-off is at 2pm and tickets are priced at £10 or adults and £5 for concessions.
