Glenavon have announced the loan signing of Linfield forward Jordan Stewart until the end of the season.
Stewart's season has been hampered by injury but the 27-year-old recently returned to action for the Blues.
Now he is heading to Mourneview Park for the remainder of the campaign and Glenavon boss Gary Hamilton believes the deal will be beneficial for Stewart and the Lurgan Blues.

Hamilton told the club's website: “Jordan has been out for a few months through injury so he’s looking to get some game time under his belt.
“With Linfield flying at the minute it’s proving difficult for him to get that with them. Coming on loan with us is something that will hopefully work out well for everyone because he will add real quality to our squad.”
Hamilton added: “We actually came very close to signing him a few years ago but unfortunately it didn’t work out for us.
“He has been one of the league’s top players for number of seasons now, so I think it’s a great signing for us.”
Stewart joined Linfield from Swindon Town in July 2017 and previously played for Glentoran.
This season he has made just three Premiership appearances. His last game was against Glenavon in a 6-1 win for Linfield on January 14.
