Gary Lineker has praised Brendan Rodgers after Celtic's victory over Motherwell, calling it a "mad game".
The Scottish champions scored a late winner at Fir Park as they extended their lead at the top of the table.
And the former England international was impressed with the manner of the Hoops' win.
Speaking on The Rest is Football Podcast, he said: "Moment of the week, I don’t know if anyone saw it, but I saw the highlights of Celtic and Motherwell.
“It was such a mad game. I think Celtic scored in the 87th minute, then we know we get long injury times at present, then Motherwell equalised in the 95th minute and then Celtic scored the winner again in the 97th minute.
"They are top of the league there. Brendan Rodgers. Very popular amongst us Leicester fans. Always will be for giving us the glory of the FA Cup. We are getting some exciting finales.”
Meanwhile, Chris Sutton has taken a thinly-veiled parting shot at Michael Beale following his exit from Rangers.
The Englishman was sacked yesterday evening by the Ibrox club following a dismal start to the season.
Three Premiership defeats in seven league games so far this term led to the club's hierarchy opting to end Beale's tenure after only 10 months.
He joined the last last November during the World Cup break as Giovanni van Bronckhorst was removed from his position.
Sutton is never quiet when it comes to issues relating to Rangers and their issues.
And the former Celtic star did not miss the chance to take a dig at Beale just moments after he left the club.
He wrote on X: "There are some managers that are comedy acts…"
