Loose Women viewers were left stunned by Line of Duty star Vicky McClure's hair transformation.
The actress, who plays DI Kate Fleming in the Jed Mercurio BBC drama about corruption inside the police force, appeared on the ITV daytime show on Tuesday afternoon.
Vicky usually sports short brunette hair for her role as AC-12's undercover specialist and fans couldn't quite believe it was her sitting alongside the panel, writes Manchester Evening News.
Earlier this year she returned to our screens as Lana Washington in ITV's Tigger Point about a bomb disposal team. As she took her seat on the ITV chat show she wowed with new longer blonde locks.
The compliments came pouring in for her flowing tresses. @TimMee46331125 tweeted: "@Vicky_McClureI have to say, from a Derby lad to a Nottingham lass, I love your hair when I caught you on LW today."
Vicky, who stars alongside Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar in the drama, said: "We celebrated 10 years this year. We all met up and had a great night. We all want to do it of course. It's just timing." She added: "We have a break anyway so this doesn't feel too strange to us."
The BAFTA-winning star is back with Our Dementia Choir Sings Again with Vicky McClure from Monday October 10 on BBC One. The heartwarming documentary highlights the true extent of music’s power in the fight against dementia.
Vicky reunites with members of the choir of people living with dementia she helped to form four years ago for the first series, as well as some new recruits. Vicky and the choir decide to record a charity single to raise awareness for the lack of support for people living with the condition, performing a song gifted to them by a local band.
They become the first dementia choir to record at the legendary Abbey Road studios 2019. "It's a very real watch, it's emotional and joyful," she told the Loose Women.
