Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan delighted locals and staff in Wicklow after she popped into a popular gastro pub.
The actress, who has starred in Mean Girls and The Parent Trap, visited gastro pub The Bridge Tavern in Wicklow town for a meal on Thursday night. Taking to social media, The Bridge Tavern, which is based on Bridge Street, shared a photo of the beaming actress with its staff.
It is understood that the Mean Girls actress is in Ireland to film a new romantic comedy movie. The Bridge Tavern wrote on Facebook: "No … your eyes do not deceive you. Yes that is @lindsaylohan casually dropping into The Bridge Tavern of a Thursday night.

"Sure the whole Bridge crew had to get a shot," they added. Lindsay's new film, 'Irish Wish', is set to be filmed in Dublin, Wicklow, Westport, Knock airport and a few other locations throughout September. The film is expected to be set in modern-day Ireland, and Lindsay is set to play the lead role of Maddie and the film will hit the streaming service next year.
Meanwhile, movie bosses are looking for a body double for Lindsey Lohan as the 36-year-old actress starts filming this month. The posting for the full-time gig on Movieextras.ie detailed the requirements for candidates for the role including height and dress size.
The candidate must also be residing in Dublin and be available to work from Monday to Friday, starting Monday, September 5 until Friday, October 14. Filming for the new flick is reportedly set to take place in Westport and Knock Airport in county Mayo as well as Lough Tay in the Wicklow Mountains, Killruddery House and Gardens, Bray Head and the Cliffs of Moher.
