Linda Evangelista was pictured for the first time after she announced she was 'done hiding' after a botched cosmetic fat-freezing procedure.
Her face was left 'permanently disfigured from the' cosmetic procedure she had six years ago.
The 56-year-old - who rose to fame alongside the likes of Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford - claimed in September that she had been left disfigured after undergoing the CoolSculpting procedure.
And now, the star - who has rarely been since 2016 - was seen on Wednesday in New York City.
She underwent the procedure from August 2015 to February the next year.
It was supposed to reduce her fat cells, but the star suffered from paradoxical adipose hyperplasia - a rare adverse effect that actually saw her fat cells increase.

The 90s supermodel had her hair tied up and rocked transparent-framed glasses.
It comes after the star claimed she was left "brutally disfigured" by a cosmetic procedure.
The supermodel rose to fame alongside the likes of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington but she has remained largely out of the spotlight for the past few years.
Linda, who has been keeping away from the spotlight in the last few years, said she no longer looked like herself after undergoing Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting procedure, which did the 'opposite' of what she had hoped and increased rather than decreased her fat cells leaving her "permanently deformed".
In September last year, she took to Instagram to break her silence and explained the two corrective surgeries that had attempted to undo the damage as 'painful' and 'unsuccessful.'

"To my followers who have wondered why I have not been working while my peers’ careers have been thriving, the reason is that I was brutally disfigured by Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting procedure which did the opposite of what it promised," she explained.
"It increased, not decreased, my fat cells and left me permanently deformed even after undergoing two painful, unsuccessful, corrective surgeries. I have been left, as the media has described, 'unrecognisable.'"
Linda says she developed Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH), which is described as the overgrowth of fatty adipose tissue and is a rare side effect of the procedure she underwent.
She added: "I have developed Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia or PAH, a risk of which I was not made aware of before I had the procedures."
Linda also explained how "tired" she is of hiding herself and wanted to be able to "walk out her door with her head held high".
