Timothee Chalamet and Lily Rose Depp hit London premiere of The King

Netflix’s upcoming film The King has generated a heap of buzz, with Timothee Chalamet’s bowl cut setting Twitter on fire and his romance with co-star Lily Rose Depp dominating the headlines.

Every appearance the cast makes on the red carpet never fails to deliver on the sartorial front and Thursday night’s London premiere followed suit, with the duo cutting a dash on the carpet.

Lily Rose Depp looked nothing short of chic - the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis is a brand ambassador for Chanel.

Chalamet, who is widely regarded as one of the best dressed male stars on the red carpet, also made a stylish statement. Few can make a hoodie look good as formalwear, but the midnight blue velvet Louis Vuitton piece he chose was covered in sequins, arranged to make the outfit look like a starry night.

He paired his look with slacks and a pair of glossy black boots.

Although the pair appears to be romantically involved (photographed in the summer making out on an Italian yacht) they posed at opposite ends of group photos or with a fellow co-star between them.

Joel Edgerton, who stars in and co-wrote the film, suited up for the occasion and was seen interacting with fans on either side of the red carpet.

Co-star Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie also gave the fashionable couple a run for their money, wearing a black ballgown.

The King is available to stream on Netflix.
