Lily Allen returns to Instagram but ignores absence after deleting entire account

Lily Allen has returned to Instagram and completely ignored her absence after deleting her entire account.

The 36-year-old left the social media app after becoming involved in a bitter spat with a follower, who accused her of “ending” a pizzeria when she shared her disgust at the poor food.

On Thursday, Lily returned to Instagram with a photo dump of pictures, including one of her and husband David Harbour, with the Stranger Things star sweetly planting a kiss on her forehead.

In other images taken while living in New York, she showed off her petite frame with a snap of her eye-catching outfit, which included an embroidered knitted jumper and a pair of bright pink joggers.

Another picture was of a matcha latte, and one image was from her meal at upscale restaurant Eleven Madison Park, which focuses solely on plant-based dishes.

She captioned the slideshow with a waving hand emoji, and her fans were delighted the Smile hitmaker had returned.

“She’s back!!! we missed you!! now where’s the album QUEEEEEN,” one follower commented.

“Oh thank god you’re back, hate the world without you,” another added.

“Welcome back queen! We missed you!” a third wrote.

Lily’s return to social media was teased by former collaborator Mark Ronson, who shared a picture of her talking to musician King Princess in a post on his Instagram Stories.

The mother-of-two has opted to keep a low profile in recent weeks, after she quit Instagram after becoming involved in a war of words with an irked follower in December.

Lily shared a picture of her disappointing takeaway pizza from Pizza Pilgrims on her Instagram Stories, and wrote atop the snap: “Not impressed tbh.”

But she was soon targeted by a fan who scolded her for sharing her opinion on the eatery, and accused her of potentially “ending” the small business.

“Brutal to this business, publicly shaming them, yikes!” they wrote, prompting Lily to reply: “They shouldn't be in the business of making pizzas if this is what their dishing out. I paid for it, I'm well within my right to express my displeasure.”

The follower continued with their tirade, and said Lily had a “lot of influence” and should’ve contacted Pizza Pilgrims privately.

“Maybe an inbox to their Instagram would be enough, a post like this could end them,” they added.

“If you think I shouldn't complain about s**t on my platform, block, restrict or unfollow me,” Lily fumed.

“The world is annoying as f**k sometimes, and I'm not here for all that ass kissing cloutathon nonsense. If you can't call out a s**t pizza on here we're all doomed,” she added, before seemingly deleting her account.
