Kate Moss's daughter Lila Moss has done her very first magazine cover - and it's a family affair. The 16-year-old is the new cover star for Dazed, the publication co-founded by her father Jefferson Hack.
Hack, now the CEO of Dazed Media, and Lila's supermodel mother Kate Moss got together in the early Noughties and had Lila in 2002. Though they would later split, the two remain good friends today.
Lila's choice of a first magazine cover has added sentimental value: her parents first met when Hack was sent to interview Moss for Dazed - so without it, she might not have been born.
The cover shoot, which was done by veteran photographer Tim Walker (who has shot Lila's mother a number of times), shows the model in a Celine by Hedi Slimane polka dot dress and black pillbox hat.
The cover follows the unveiling of Moss, who turned 16 in September, as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. She also signed with her mother's own modelling agency earlier this year.
In an interview with Vogue in September, Kate Moss discussed the strict rules her agency follows when dealing with younger models, requiring parental consent for any applicants under the age of 18.
“I was very young, and it was hard, but I got through it—I was quite tough—these days, I think young models need somebody there with them” she said.
Luckily, Lila isn't short of guidance on that front.
