Lil Nas X confessed about how he ditched a pre-concert catch-up with Madonna so he could go to the toilet before going on stage.
The 23-year-old singer was speaking to Zane Lowe on the Apple Music 1 radio station to discuss his plans for new music, his brief interaction with Madonna and how his new song Star Walkin' became the League of Leagues Worlds anthem.
He is currently on his Long Live Montero Tour and when he was asked how his world tour was going, Lil Nas X - real name Montero Lamar Hill - opened up about the issue he has with his nerves before going on stage.
He told Zane: "The tour is actually going great. I'm able to find my confidence on that stage and I feel like I have to poop less and less every night because, you know, usually I have the nerves so bad but I feel I get more and more calm every night.
"There's nothing wrong with a good s**t though."
His bowel issue also became an issue when Queen of Pop Madonna came to one of his shows earlier in the week but he had to make a quick dash to the toilet and ignore her due to his nerves.
He explained: "She came to my show last night and it was a full circle moment because she brought me back to her show in 2019.
"I didn't actually get a chance to get a good conversation with her because I was about to go out onto the stage and as I told you earlier, I have to s*** from nervousness."
Zane interjected with a recreation of the conversation, saying: "Madonna, I would love to have a conversation with you but I need to go take a s**t. To which Lil Nas X responded: "That's exactly what I had to tell her when I went out onto the stage."
"But she told me she's going to be there and rooting for me and stuff like that. And that was really cute and sweet. And I was like, 'That's so dope. Madonna's at my f****** show, bro'."
Lil Nas X admitted that his "creative spirit is honestly in the garbage can" in terms of creating new music for an upcoming album but was not worried as he knew "it's going to be the best s*** I've ever made thus far".
On his new song Star Walkin', he admitted that although he is not much of a gamer anymore he appreciated that he does have a large gamer fanbase and thought it was "super dope" that a gaming company of that magnitude wanted to work with him.
