Manchester United fans are delighted after Anthony Martial found the net in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Everton.
The Frenchman started on the bench for a third straight game since coming back from injury but came on in the second half to score his first goal since February 1 on 71 minutes. The striker now has 86 goals for United, surpassing David Beckham’s tally of 85.
Martial played a minute more than he had done when starting against Everton in October’s 2-1 win at Goodison Park. He trudged off the pitch with a hip injury that day but tried to make up for lost time after finding the net when Marcus Rashford took advantage of Seamus Coleman’s mis-control.

The latter hobbled off with a groin issue shortly after Martial’s goal in what will be a worry for United. However, United were boosted by the return of Christian Eriksen who came off the bench to play his first minutes since January’s ankle injury.
Fans were equally pleased to see Martial fire home his seventh goal of the season after his own injury troubles, which have seen him play just 17 times this term. Fans on Twitter hailed the attacker while some made comparisons between his link-up play with Rashford and that of United legends Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole.
