Major changes are happening at Liffey Valley as the shopping centre prepares to introduce paid car parking for the first time.
The shopping centre has recently undergone a €30m transformation of its car park, which included increasing disability spaces by 14%, parent and child spaces by 46%, and creating 20 electric vehicle charging points.
From Monday, October 17, a "comprehensive parking guidance system" will launch at Liffey Valley, which will display real-time data on approach roads and within the car parks to direct customers to the nearest available bay.

Monday will also mark the introduction of their new paid parking system. Here's everything you need to know about the changes at Liffey Valley's car park.
How does the new parking system work?
Liffey Valley's new paid parking management system is called Park Easy. The system is ticketless and cashless and scans a customer's car registration number when they drive into the car park.
The system will record the customer's time of arrival, and the barrier will be raised without issuing a ticket. When the customer is leaving the car park, they can pay either online, at a pay station, or directly at the barrier.
How much does it cost?
Here's how much parking will cost you at Liffey Valley from Monday between the hours of 8am-6pm:
- 0-3 hours - €2.50
- 3-4 hours - €5.00
- 4-5 hours - €7.50
- 5-6 hours - €10.00
- 6-7 hours - €12.50 (Max Day Rate)
There is a flat rate evening charge of €2.50 between the hours of 6pm - 8am.
How do I get more information?
From October 10 until November 9, Liffey Valley is holding a pop-up hub outside Eason where staff will be available between 10am and 4pm daily to answer any questions the public has. From October until January, the shopping centre will have increased staff on site based in key locations such as the car park entries, exits and lobbies to discuss any queries you may have.
