Nottingham Forest head coach Steve Cooper said the Reds deserved their promotion to the Premier League as he admitted the club has "changed his life".
The Reds sealed their return to the top flight after a 23-year absence as they secured a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield at Wembley courtesy of a Levi Colwill own goal before half-time.
The Reds survived two VAR scares after Harry Toffolo and Lewis O'Brien took tumbles in the box as Cooper's side held on amid incredible scenes at the final whistle.

Asked whether he could put Forest's achievement into words, Cooper responded: "Probably not. Maybe I will be a bit more articulate in a couple of days. I am really pleased for the players. Really pleased for the supporters.
"I thought we played well in the first half apart from being too creative. Of all the big goals we have scored this season, we get one like that, but it doesn't matter.
"We've managed to see it through in the second half, but everybody connected with the football club deserves this today. We are really looking forward to a positive future."
Cooper has been praised for the remarkable turnaround at the City Ground having taken over the club when they were bottom of the table.
Cooper was seen trying to take it all in at Wembley in the dugout and he added: "I love being at this football club. It isn't about me, but it has changed my life professionally anyway.
"My family are here and the players' families are here. The supporters are here and Stuart Pearce will tell you, this football club is about belonging of a city. It comes together on a matchday. We've brought Nottingham to Wembley, we've took over the place and here we are in the Premier League."
