Life onboard Disney Magic as popular ship returns to Liverpool

Disney Magic is making its return to Liverpool today.

The cruise ship has proven to be popular with families when it has visited the city in previous years. This time, the ship will be arriving into Liverpool at 8am, before departing at 6.15pm. Those wishing to catch a glimpse of the ship can head down to the Pier Head and make their way towards Liverpool Cruise Terminal.

The ship is almost 1,000ft long, with 11 decks and the capacity to hold 1,754 passengers. Those who are lucky enough to be onboard will be able to enjoy a journey immersed in Disney's magical storytelling.

Aiming to combine classic nostalgia with modern amenities, the Disney Magic ship offers plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Guests will be entertained with dazzling live performances in the onboard Walt Disney Theatre. There is a live showing of Tangled: The Musical, transporting audiences to Rapunzel's fairytale world as the animated characters come to life on stage.

Disney fans also have the chance to meet some of their favourite characters at kids clubs and during surprise encounters on the cruise. The ship's itinerary also features a spectacular firework show, allowing guests to marvel at a display of colours, lights and songs illuminating the sky. The ship also shows the newest Disney films in the Buena Vista Theatre, along with the chance to enjoy some of the franchise's popular classic movies.

The ship aims to cater to fans of all ages with a mixed programme of activities. Adults can unwind in the spa and salon, or enjoy some live piano music in the evenings. Meanwhile, kids get to let their imaginations run wild thanks to kids clubs, video games and the Marvel Super Hero Academy.

There's also a range of pools onboard the ship. Thrill-seekers can enjoy a ride on AquaDunk, an exciting drop-out waterslide, whereas those looking to unwind can take a dip in the Quiet Cove Pool. The ship offers a rotational dining experience, meaning that guests rotate to one of three different restaurants with a unique menu each day of the cruise.

Passengers will also have the chance to experience a range of stop-off points whilst on the ship. Offering cruises through the Bahamas, Caribbean and Europe, Disney Magic also allows people to explore the world whilst enjoying the ship's themed offerings.
