Liel Abada's late, late strike sees Celtic cut Rangers' Premiership lead with dramatic win over Dundee United

Celtic moved to within two points of Rangers at the top of the cinch Premiership after Liel Abada's last-gasp strike gave them a 1-0 win over Dundee United at Parkhead.

Rangers slipped up with a 3-3 draw against Ross County at Dingwall earlier on Saturday, but Ange Postecoglou' s side spent most of the afternoon frustrated by their disciplined visitors.

However, with seconds remaining of the 90 minutes and the Hoops down to 10 men, stand-in skipper Nir Bitton having seen red in the 81st minute, Abada fired in a dramatic winner.

Nineteen-year-old Matthew Wright netted an equaliser in the sixth minute of stoppage time to earn Ross County a 3-3 draw against Rangers.

Amad Diallo scored inside five minutes of his debut, but the loan signing from Manchester United was off injured by the time the late drama unfolded.

Major errors from Allan McGregor and Calvin Bassey gifted County two goals inside four minutes, with Jordan White and Regan Charles-Cook taking advantage.

Diallo was again involved as James Tavernier equalised early in the second half and Connor Goldson headed home in the 72nd minute to put Rangers ahead, but Wright had the final say after a second blunder from McGregor.

On-loan Everton striker Ellis Simms scored on his first start for Hearts as Motherwell were beaten 2-0 at Tynecastle.

Simms netted from close range in the 58th minute to add to Andy Halliday's opener as Robbie Neilson's third-placed side moved 10 points clear of their nearest rivals.

Alan Forrest struck the decisive blow as Livingston twice came from behind to secure an impressive 3-2 victory at Hibernian.

Recent signing Demetri Mitchell and Chris Cadden scored for the hosts, but those goals were cancelled out by Ayo Obileye and Jack Fitzwater respectively.

Forrest's goal on the hour mark was enough to move the visitors above St Mirren into eighth.

The matches between Aberdeen and St Johnstone and Dundee and St Mirren were both postponed amid safety concerns following Storm Malik.
