Budget chain Lidl has unveiled its affordable turkey range for Christmas, with items set to arrive in stores from 19 December.
Whatever your Christmas arrangements this year, shoppers will be able to pick up an impressive centre-piece for Christmas dinner from £2.89 per kg at the chain.
The wallet-friendly price makes Lidl one of the most affordable place to buy your turkey from this year. It's only matched by rival Aldi, who is also selling its turkeys for the same price that will also be available from 19 December.
Lidl's full selection includes an array of options, in all sizes, depending on how many you are hosting this year.
The Birchwood British Whole Turkey (£2.89 per kg) is the cheapest, but for those wanting to splash out there is the Deluxe Ultimate Heritage Breed Free Range Silver Slate British Turkey for £8.99 per kg.
The premium bird is a rare, specialist breed reared on RSPCA assured farms in the beautiful East Anglian countryside.
There's also a wide selection of Turkey crowns and joints, including a tasty sounding Turkey Breast Joint wrapped in a bacon lattice and paired with pork, apricot and cranberry stuffing. Perfect for shoppers who want something impressive but less time-consuming to cook on the big day.
But if turkey isn't your preference for Christmas dinner, Lidl also have a big range of alternatives on offer too.
The chain is also selling a special Birchwood Maple-Flavoured Gammon Joint with Crackling for those who prefer a delicious red meat alternative.
Fish lovers won't be left out either. Lidl are also selling a gourmet Deluxe Whole Salmon Side dressed in Garlic & Herb Butter with Sprigs of Rosemary or Lemon & Dill to wow guests.
