A Lidl supermarket site in Carmarthen have been put up for sale.
The German-owned retailer has appointed the Cardiff office of property advisory firm Fletcher Morgan to market the near 11,000 sq ft store, located on a 1.15 acre site and which provides 87 car parking spaces.
A guide price has not been disclosed for the site, just 700 yards from the centre of the town.
Subject to planning consent the site, on Priory Street, could be redeveloped for a number of purposes including retail, car sales, leisure and residential.
The existing store in scheduled to close in February next year.
Lidl is currently constructing a larger store in the town.
A former police building at Friars Park is being demolished for the larger store in a multi-million pound investment that will create and safeguard 40 jobs.
Planning consent for the new store was granted in July. The new store will include a 122-space car park.
The new outlet, at just over 13,000 sq ft, is expected to open next year.
