Lidl has unveiled a new affordable heater which doubles up as a fan for less than £20. Amid the cost of living crisis, Brits are trying to find cheaper alternatives to stay warm and comfortable - and now their prayers have been answered.
The supermarket giant says its new heater means customers can "can cosy up on the sofa without breaking the bank", as reported by the Liverpool Echo. They will unleash its Silvercrest Ceramic Fan Heater in stores on Thursday, December 22.
It comes after temperatures in the UK fell to as low as -11C. The heater has two adjustable settings, with the lower setting costing just over 20p an hour to use, and the higher coming in at 41p per hour.

The product also doubles as a fan for the warmer months, however, that's quite a way off and you'll be using the warm function for the foreseeable. With a handy portable handle, it can also be taken outside of the home, for those spending the festive season away.
Shoppers have also gone crazy for a £30 heater that is said to drastically slash energy bills. The Beldray 1.2kW Halogen Heaterhas racked up thousands of glowing five-star reviews online from Wilko and Argos.
News of the heater follows Martin Lewis' recommendation that they are a cheap way to warm your home and slash energy bills. Those have got their hands on it already claim keeps them warm and costs only 7p an hour to run - a considerable difference from putting the central heating on.
