Starting at just £1.49 an item, the German grocer announced the return of their best-selling Return To University Essentials which recently dropped in stores yesterday.
The supermarket giant's budget range can be found in their iconic 'Middle of Lidl' section from September 1, meaning shoppers have even more of an excuse to head down the wonderful aisle.
From pots and pans to whip up speedy snacks, bedding for quality post-party naps, and stationary to ace your exams, the supermarket's essentials has everything you need to settle into university life.
Some highlights from the range includes the Silentnight Snugsie Wearable Blanket, which features a 2-in-1 function that transforms into a cosy cushion for easy storage. Costing just £12.99, freshers can recover from their fresher's flu by curling up in the blanket.
There will also be plush mattress toppers for both single (£29.99), double (£34.99) and king size (£39.99), meaning you can transform your student hall bed into a luxurious place to sleep away the night.
The range also promises to kit out students kitchen for less than a tenner with Lidl’s Aluminium Saucepan (£4.99) and Kitchen Utensils (£1.49 each) - perfect for those packaged noodles you know will be getting bought.
For the students who really want to impress their flatmates with their culinary skills, there is the Aluminium Frying Pan (24cm - £4.99; 28cm - £7.99), and Aluminium Sauté Pan (£11.99).
Students looking to ace their first term can pick up some low-cost stationary to use in their lectures. These include A5/A6 Notebooks (£2.99), A4 Lever Arch File (£1.99), and the Stationary Set (£2.49) - perfect for taking notes and acing exams.
